Connecting unhoused neighbors with specialty medical care through volunteer practitioners

We bridge critical healthcare gaps for individuals experiencing homelessness by coordinating pro-bono specialty care from volunteer private practitioners across Los Angeles and San Diego counties.

  • Specialty medical care: orthopedics, dermatology, podiatry, dentistry, ophthalmology, endocrinology
  • Mental health support, psychiatry, and compassionate counseling services
  • Comprehensive care coordination including appointments, transportation, and follow-up
  • Dignity-centered approach treating each person with respect and humanity

Breaking poverty cycles through employment, education, and environmental restoration

A transformative six-month pilot providing living wages and comprehensive education to individuals without formal credentials, combining environmental restoration with pathways to economic stability.

  • $30/hour living wage for 30 hours/week of environmental restoration work (4 days)
  • Free educational classes 2 days/week: vocational training, financial literacy, personal development
  • Hands-on environmental restoration: beach cleanups, park maintenance, urban greening
  • Support services: career counseling, mental health resources, childcare assistance
